


Robyn Lynne Bounds
Born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, creative parents encouraged both drawing and the use of colour from an early age. Studied art at Concordia College after which figure drawing and the use of oils featured. Robyn won several art competitions while still a student and received her first commission for a painting at age 17. Soon after arriving in Victoria and settling on the Mornington Peninsula an interest developed in pastels.
In both 1991 and 1993, a painting was donated to and auctioned by the Crippled Children's Association of South Australia. Paintings have been exhibited throughout Victoria in art shows, group exhibitions and galleries including the Aspects Gallery at Blairgowrie, Original Oz at Mt.Martha and AFlorence at Mt.Eliza. A successful solo exhibition was held in Daimuru Gallery in 2000.
Robyn has won many awards and commendations for both her oils and pastels. As guest speaker, she opened the Monterey Secondary College 3rd Annual Art and Graphic Communication Exhibition.
Paintings are included in both private and corporate collections around Australia and overseas. Corporate Collections include Nitto Denko, BHP, Caroma Industries and Telstra. Robyn is a member of the Peninsula Arts Society. She is available for commission work.
